Acer Aspire One D270 Drivers Download - Packing a new Intel Atom N2600 1GB DDR3-1066 RAM a 320GB (5400rpm) HDD a 10.1in (1024 x 600-resolution) screen and a six-cell battery the D270 had a decent set of specs. The new CPU was about on par with a previous-gen Intel Atom N570 but it had better integrated graphics. In PCMark 7 the D270 scored 698 and in Powermark on Balanced (turning off wireless and switching the power profile to Balanced) it lasted an impressive 6:09hr. Compared to the ASUS Eee PC 1025C-GRY041S which scored 765 and lasted only 3:33hr (due to a three-cell battery) it’s clear that overall the D270 was well ahead.
The AOD270’s build quality is reasonable overall and while quiet the speakers are good enough for watching cats on YouTube. The screen is decent but it isn’t as bright as the ASUS’s. We also found the webcam to be only passable. The keyboard was a pleasant surprise due to its large key size and comfortable layout and the touchpad is also likeable. The D270 provides good connectivity: it has 100Mbps Ethernet Bluetooth 4.0 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi three USB 2.0 ports a VGA port an HDMI port an SD card reader a headphone jack and a microphone jack.
If battery life is your sole concern the D270 has you covered. The keyboard’s great as well so for long term-use it’s a winner.
